Our advice is to book early, contact the campsite to confirm not only availability but what facilities will be available. Electric pitches are limited so book early. Expect demand to be high.
Following the announcement by the government on Tuesday 23rd June both the Caravan and Motorhome Club and the Camping & Caravan club have confirmed they will reopen sites from the 4th July following their closure in March.
The Camping & Caravan Club will open on the 4th July as part of the government’s phase 3 plans. There’re delighted that this date has now been officially confirmed. They plan plan to open the majority of Club Sites, including as many as possible with toilet block facilities. Some campsites however, will open without toilets and showers. In order to operate our sites in a responsible manner we will be increasing our cleaning regimes; where facility blocks are open there will be 2 deep cleans a day and 4 supplementary cleans – this places extra demand on our staff so we have had to look at campsites which are better suited to self-sufficient campers where facility blocks will not be open this season.
To get help please use their contact form. They thank you for your support and understanding and it could take a little time for them to come back to you. They have a limited number or phonelines open, if you would like to talk to them about a UK Club Site booking please call 024 7647 5426. Lines are open Monday - Friday 9.30am - 4.00pm, please be patient as they are expecting them to be busy. They'll continue to deal with all other enquiries via email.
The Caravan & Motorhome Club are opening over 140 campsites from the 4th July and their affiliated campsites are also opening from the 4th. All of their campsites that are to reopen will be adapted to the new social distancing and safety requirements set out by the UK government and administrations. Our priority is first and foremost the health and safety of our staff, our members, our guests and the local communities. They intend, to open all toilet blocks and communal facilities on those sites that have them with new guidelines in place, they are increasing the rigour of cleaning, sanitising and disinfecting common areas as part of their COVID Secure Commitment.
Use the Livechat service as we expect Phonelines and Emails queries to be slower to respond.
I'm sure all the campsite owners will appreciate your patronage more than ever this year and extend a warm and friendly welcome as most will have been without any income for over 4 months.
Wherever we can help then please feel free to email.
